Akira Tsuchida is a Japanese Flight Director (J-Flight) for the International Space Station. He has worked in the Manned Space Program since 1996.
In 2007, he lead the Earth-Track-Controllers (E-T-C) to develop, test, and operate a light-powered climber for the Space Games Competition in Salt Lake City, UT, sponsored by NASA.
Before this, from 1987-1996, he worked as a Missile Test Engineer at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI).
From 1983-1986, he developed over 20 products using 4/8-bit micro-controllers for industrial use. |
